Hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was cleaned well every day.
The shower had lots of mold and was gross.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, considering how inexpensive the room was. As a solo young female traveler, my main goal in finding a hotel was one where I would feel safe coming back at night, and Flor Rivoli is absolutely the place for that. The subway stop is practically ten feet from the door of the hotel, and the area feels safe, well-lit and there are plenty of people walking around anyway. The room itself was very clean, simple and perfect for what I needed, which was a place to sleep when I wasn't able to be out exploring the city. The staff were very nice and helpful, and I had a really great experience overall.
The elevator wasn't working when I got to the hotel, and if you're above the 1st floor, the steep, winding staircase is a little tough. Luckily, my luggage was a backpack, so it was just a bit of exercise that I didn't mind, but if you have a hard time with stairs or have giant luggage, you might want to check with the hotel about the state of the elevator before booking. It was working again by the day I checked out, so possibly this isn't a problem they usually have.
i really enjoyed the staff members, they were helpful & very welcoming. The Location was perfect, near the Louvre. However, we then we told that it is across the Red Light district of Paris, which wasn’t so pleasant.
the bathroom was too small & not comfortable.
It was very close to the subway and to a marketplace.
Some of the hotel staff is awful. Regarding the location of the hotel: it is good, but it doesn't seem to be a safe place at night. Also, the room didn't have a good smell and the space to shower was way too small. I am thin and could barely move when taking a shower.
Positive: Location. Walking distance to Notre Dame, Latin Area, Louvre, Champs Elysees, Les Marais (best area in Paris). Close to Chatelet metro station, with connection to orly and cdg Airports. The staff spoke fairly good english, and were helpful. Possible to book a shuttle to the airport at the hotel. Rue de Rivoli has shops like h&m, Zara etc. The Hotel is situated besides a supermarked.
If you care about comfort, the looks of the room etc, you should not stay here. And if you intend to spent more hours then the ones you are asleep in the hotel room, find another hotel. Our standard double room was "tired" and, an ok bed but nothing more. Broken handles to the window, no air condition, bathroom with cracks in the bathtub, sink etc. Instead of buying the hotel breakfast for 6 euro, go around the corner and have a cheaper breakfast in the streets of Paris. For backpackers, young couples and those who want excellent location for an okey price, this hotel is fine.
Location very good, 10 mins walk to Louvre, and the metro is just in front of it.
Upstairs is being fixed and it was very noisy. The room is so small even for one person.
Excellent location, very nice staff, the best value for the money. We felt very welcomed, we'd like to go again.
Good location. Near river, louvre museum and tour effiel. Very near to metro. It is very convinent to tourist. Besides, friendly staff.
Too small rooms and no breakfast.
The metro station is just 10 steps away from the hotel
Close to Notre Dame, St Chapelle, Pont Neuf and the Louvre. Good value breakfasts at the French style McCafe around the corner in Rue de Rivoli. Great value for the location. Staff friendly and helpful. Many bus routes close by. Local station (Metro Chatelet) has rer connection to Gare de Nord (for Eurostar) and cdg airport.
The street noise at night was sometimes annoying. It was not significant when the window was shut but we often needed the window open to air the room.
Good location, near Notre Dame and etc. Clean room, free wi-fi.
French window doesn't close completely, so it was a bit cold in the room.
really centrally located hotel for guests without any requirements. metro chatelet and bus stations in front of hotel. supermarket and a cafe just around the corner.
breakfast to expensive and in an uncomfortably room in the cellar. my hint: have it in a cafe instead. The rooms are quite clean but clairaudient and - in my opinion - they should be renovated, especially the bath rooms.
Location of hotel. Cheap and cheerful, clean and exactly what we wanted.
Within walking distance of many major locations in Paris.
It was close to the subway system.
The hotel was very conveniently located, near Pont Neuf and Chalet Metro station.
The hotel was a rather low grade tourist hotel, not really as advertised.
